A Third Major Party

How many decisions have you seen where you just think – but how have they come up with this policy when everything, on sum, points to a very clear different direction? Have you watched in disbelief as ‘our representatives’ do anything but what’s obviously good for the nation? Have you screamed at the TV thinking “where is the common sense in that”!

This new alternative political party is for those who are disillusioned and angry with the major parties. We are not a single issue party, but instead, a challenge to the established way of running things. We want to shake things up and inspire democracy again – before it is completely too late. Instead of “they are all the same”, we want to be that chance to show that there is an alternative to the self-serving, corrupt systems in place.

It is a HUGE ask. It will take a few election
cycles. It will not be easy.

We will be fought against by the parties, the wealthy, the powerful, the paid off, the righteous radical right, the looney left, the loud and the influential. The more we get under their skin, the more they cry foul, the more successful we know we are becoming. They have the most to lose, they control the systems currently, they know it and they are desperate to not lose it and their benefits – that come at a cost to the rest of us.

We will have to be strong, fierce, firm,
unwavering and united. But all trajectories show that Common Sense must prevail
for the good of the future of Australia. The greed of the few can no longer be
allowed to pillage the obligations to the many. Australia’s future depends on
it.
