Unfortunately, the current situation in Australia is that political parties (especially new parties) are required to generate their own funds. This party is ideologically and fundamentally opposed to this system due to the corruption and appearance of corruption, that this brings. All trust is lost.
While we have this system though, The Common Sense Party of Australia is required to source our own funds. At this stage, this is through donation. Membership fees and fundraisers are considerations for the future.
So how will we be different? How can we be the trusted party when we ourselves are taking donations? We will publicly disclose the source, date and amount of every dollar and cent raised. This registry will be searchable and orderable by name, date and amount. When you donate, your name, the amount you donated and the date will be available for the public to see. We, and you, have nothing to hide.
